Price endows Scholarship for Health Services Management and Policy

Each year, a student majoring in Health Services Management and Policy at The Ohio State University has received funding through an endowment from Corbett A Price and family. Established in 1998, income from the fund has provided scholarships, technology enhancements, training and other educational needs.

This year’s recipient, Anam Khan, was chosen based on her promise of success and potential to provide exceptional leadership in hospital and health services. Upon receiving the award, Anam noted, “I would not have been able to attend Ohio State because of financial reasons, but I really liked the MHA program and wanted to get started. This scholarship turned the impossible into the possible. I hope that when I graduate from OSU and am on my career path, I will also be able to help someone’s dream come true as an OSU alumni. I am truly thankful to Mr. Price for this funding. Without your support, I would not have been able to achieve my goals.”

Hale Hall Dedication

Corbett Price was one of several distinguished Ohio State alumni to attend the dedication of Hale Hall. The new home of the Hale Black Cultural Center now resides in one of the most historic buildings on the OSU campus.

Ohio State officials, students, faculty and staff celebrated a ceremonial ribbon-cutting  on September 25 to mark the official re-opening, now located at 154 W. 12th Ave., across the street from its former location. The center’s new home, formerly Enarson Hall, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It served as Ohio State’s first student union in 1911.
